2007 Audi S3 Review: Less Driving Fun than a Golf GTI?
In the Us we don t have the priveledge to have the new S car- the Audi S3;in Europe though, it is a different story. Magazine Autoexpress has gotten their hands on this beast praising its "fast and excellent grip in all conditions" but in the end claims it is not worth its price tag, when you can have its cousin the Golf Gti for 7,000 pounds cheaper. This should make Gti drivers happy- and makes me want to trade in my Audi A6 2.7 turbo for a Golf Gti DSG. If you can afford the S3 though, then you must. If you favor the Gti then wait for the R version to arrive stateside. I must say though, I do prefer the looks of the S3 over the GTI anyday.
I really like the s3, but for the money a gti is much better.
