New Pagani Zonda R- 750 Hp Track Car Slayer

M3ijpfk2gtq0fz

There will be a new king on the track when the Pagani Zonda R arrives with its 750 horsepower AMG powered powerplant.   This engine is based on the Zonda F Clubsport which produces a respectful 680 Hp in the track model.

How is the Zonda R different from the Zonda F?

The differences are -

  • as I have already stated engine increase
  • A longer nose to tail- 40 cm total
  • slightly longer wheelbase to help take care of the increased power in Amg Engine
  • More aggressive front and rear fascia
  • Race tuned spoiler
  • More aggressive Race wheels

New Audi A5 Cabriolet Rendering- A Breath of Fresh Air

Audi_a5_cabrio_v

New photos "rendering" of the Audi A5 Cabriolet have surface on the web revealing quite the looker- We have seen the A5, S5, AND A5 CABRIOLET all within the last week! What is next? You guess it- photos of the S5 Cabriolet which will be a more aggressive version of the this A5 Cabriolet. I am not sure which car is more "luxvelocity" - the Bmw 3 series Coupe or this A5 Cabby.  This is just a rendering though, but the actual car will resemble this very closely.  I especially like the A8 rims on the A5- classic wheels.

New Alfa Romeo 8C Spider Gets Red Carpet Treatment in Amsterdam Unveiling

(New Alpha Romeo 8C Spider Debuts in Amsterdam)

When a new supercar is released people can not wait to see it in the flesh- its like meeting that girl you have been talking to on the internet that you know is hot but you have not seen her in person yet- ok bad analogy. Autovisie.nl reports that the new Alpha Romeo has landed in Amsterdam and was treated like a celebrity with the red carpet treatment. The big gaping wheels remind me of certain style BBS, and they are as beautiful as Scarlet Johanson. The Italians really know how to design automobiles and in time we to in America will have a chance to experience Alpha Romeo when they arrive here again on Us Shores.

Imgp0172

When the Geneva Motor show opens there is going to be a one huge unveiling : the Official BMW M3 details will surface with an official concept version M3 and Motoauthority.com reports that the new car may be powered by a "DSG like "transmission and a 420 horsepower 4.0 litre V8 engine.  Although they report that it will have  a DSG like tranmission , I firmly believe it will be BMW's well known SMG transmission but definitely a much updated and most advanced SMG to date(7 or 8 gears). The 2008 BMW M3  car set to be unveiled is said to be a "concept" , and the only thing concept about it will be the color.  The show opens next week , so stay tuned for details!

Hello Audi S5- The Official Photo Leak

Big_audi_s5_pre_01

Just shortly after the leak of the official photos of the AUDI A5, now there are some official shots of the AUDI S5. The new Audi S -Coupe looks really nice but already people are speculating that it isn’t aggressive enough, but take a look at its competitor the BMW 335i- not exactly off the wall styling. What it lacks in looks though, It makes up in performance. The Audi S5 shouldn’t dissapoint in the performance department.

Nontheless consumers will have a solid new choice in the luxury coupe segment. Lets hope Audi has an RS5 in the works to compete against the all new 2009 Bmw M3 set to release in 2008.

MTM AUDI S3- 330 HP and A Whole Lotta Fun

070213002_3

Driving the new Audi S3, might leave you wanting more performance from the S Car. This is where German tuner MTM makes things better. The MTM tuned Audi S3 features more horses, better handling and brakes to die for.

Better performance and higher torque

The TFSI-motor borrowed from parent company VW, is really ideal for tuning revisions. Directly off the assembly line, the turbo engine of Audi S3 already has an impressive 265 HP. One would imagine this alone is enough. Yet, just experiencing the difference proves a visit to mtm is really worth while. In its first stage, mtm replaces the motor electronics. This procedure alone upgrades power to 310 HP/228 kW as well as torque to 400 Nm (Series: 350 Nm). Whoever selects a mtm resonator and the mtm rear silencer receives an additional 5 HP and 5 Nm. The hottest version receives even more components from mtm to boot. With the mtm front silencer and a front pipe with metallic catalysatic converter, performance increases to a powerful 330 HP and torque of 420 Nm. With this addition, in just 5,1 seconds 0 to 100 km/h is reached and a maximum speed up to 264 km/h obtainable.
Naturally, mtm ensures durability for all its parts. Customers benefit from the extensive experience mtm has gathered for example from the TT bimoto®.

As can be expected, all parts described above for the exhaust system are available seperately for the Audi S3 2.0 TFSI. Either the rear silencer with exhaust flap control alone or together with the complete catalytic converter system. Both tail pipes, each with a diameter of 80 mm, look far more impressive than the series-produced parts. From each excapes a sound that one generally only experiences on the race track.
