New 2009 Cadillac CTS V "Set to Suck Doors off" BMW M5

Will then currently in testing Cadillac CTS-V be able to take on its German rivals?

Recent reports from Leftlanenews report that the new CTS-V will take on the new Corvette's "LSA" 500 horsepower engine, but will this be enough grunt to take on cars such as the new BMW M5? Additionally, the new Cadillac CTS-V will also feature a "supercharged integrated into the intake manifold."

With an engine setup identical to the new Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1 and a power level as described by Mr Lutz as "unexpectedly high" the new Cadillac CTS-V is set to "suck the doors off" the current generation BMW M5!  We guess only a test drive will able to confirm this statement by Lutz, but are sure the New BMW M5 will take on more power to offset this battle between German and American muscle.
