Recall Issued for 2009 Jaguar XF
A recall has been issued on Jaguar's new cat the 2009 Jaguar XF.
What exactly is the recall for?
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration there is a problem with the rear seat belts on the new Jaguar XF. More specifically the rear safety belt D-ring assembly may not rotate properly around the safety belt anchorage mounting bolt." This means that passengers may or not be at risk during an accident because the occupants may or may not be properly restrained.
If you own a 2009 Jaguar XF you are advised to make an appointment with your local dealer to have the problem checked out and rectified. You may also call Jaguar at 800- 452-4827.
