Mercedes- Benz GLK Commercial
Here is the latest TV spot of the new Mercedes-Benz GLK commercial. Its yet to be scene on our tv screens but has hit the internet on Youtube.
The commercial throws back to a Hollywood stars such as Marilyn Monroe and James Dean as they get a glimpse of the new GLK passing by. The drivers of the GLK also get a glimpse of the GLK driving by leaving them to question if they have just scene the two stars.
The GLK is soon becoming a star to us as a favorite small scale luxury SUV. The concept was first scene at the Detroit Auto Show and will release sometime in early 2010. Competitors include the BMW X3, AUDI Q5, and Infiniti EX just to name a few. No word yet on a range topping AMG version, but there is speculation that there is one in the works with a V8 6.2liter engine. Until then drivers will have to settle for the 3.5L V6 with 4matic AWD.

There is no right of publicity for Monroe - MMLLC lost that right in court. I wonder, since James Dean is with the same agent, CMG, whether they did a "package" deal to circumvent that problem.

I thought this commercial was fantastic. The actors really looked like the real thing!!
