Take a ride with Jay Leno in the Aston Martin DBS (Video)
Jay Leno has one of the biggest automotive collections we have ever seen but so would with we with an NBC salary. Now Mr Leno has gotten all James Bond on us and added one more beauty to his stable of automobiles: The 2009 Aston Martin DBS.
Leno is a huge fan of lightweight , English sports cars and the DBS does the lightweight thing all to well. Lightweight materials bring the DBS to an impressive 3480 pounds. Jay's DBS gets the European carbon fiber seats as well, not an option in the US. Watch Jay throw on his tux and bust a few 360's in the V12 powered 500 plus horse Aston Martin DBS.
As a quick side note, the video says that the DBS is not available with Touchtronic transmission/ paddle shifter . As of October the new DBS can be had with the Touchtronic 2 transmission which matches that of the six speed 's note to sixty of 4.3 seconds. Pricing for the DBS with Touchtronic transmission starts at $273,000 dollars. Choosing the six speed will save you a few grand with $269,000.
Head over to Jay Leno's Garage for more great videos. Hopefully him leaving The Tonight Show equals more time in the garage for videos like these.
