Porsche Boxster RS60 Spyder Test Drive Video
Our friends at Boston.com got some seat time in the Porsche Boxster RS60 Spyder and it is so good that we thought we should feature it here.
The Porsche RS60 Spyder is inspired by Porsche's victory at the 1960 12 Hours of Sebring and first showed up at the Bologna Motor Show in 2007. The silver and red interior , more specifically called Carrera Red ,are absolutely to die for and are the perfect combination for a limited edition Porsche such as this drop top Boxster.
A plaque in the interior lets you know that this just not your average Boxster and 19 inch Porsche SportDesign wheels fill in the wheel wells with style and racy looks;these are 911 Turbo caliber wheels. Drivers are treated to a 303 horsepower and a new exhaust which you can hear in the video.
Only 1960 of the Porsche RS60 Spyder will be produced and its quite possible that most of these are accounted for.
