The all new Spyker SUV will go into production next year according to the folks at Autocar.co.uk. The Spyker SUV Concept known as the Spyker D12 Peking to Paris SUV was first seen at the Geneva Motor Show back in 2006.
Those in the market for one will have to pony up an astounding £186,000 for the new super SUV from the Dutch company car company that first started out selling supercars. This seems like a very high price tag for the Spyker SUV but with the Ferrari California and Aston Martin One-77 seeing high amounts of interest with their high price tags , it is quite imaginable that these super SUV's will be snatched up rather quickly by the uber wealthy.
Owning a Spyker D12 Peking to Paris SUV will mean that you will part of a rare group who get to drive around in one of the most striking SUV designs on the road. Tricked out X5 and Porsche Cayennes will seem too ordinary when compared to this new offering from Spyker. Lets not forget to mention the menacing power under the hood as well: although official numbers are unknown , note to sixty is expected in the 5.0 second range. The culprit for providing this power will be a W12 Volkswagen engine.
Suddenly Cayennes and the like are looking less exciting.
