The Argentinean showgirl and model, Belèn Rodriguez will be the mistress of ceremonies at the 2008 Bologna Motor Show. Born in Buenos Aires on 29 September 1984, but of Neapolitan origins, she began her career at 17 as a model in Argentina, to then move to Mexico and Miami and finally reach Italy in 2005.
Saturday 6 December, Belèn Rodriguez will officially open the 33rd Bologna Motor Show, which once again will be a trampoline for the most beautiful and promising girls in show business.
In fact there have been various showgirls who owe their luck to the International Automobile Exhibition, Valeria Marini, in 1993, Sabrina Ferilli – 1997, Simona Ventura, patroness in 2001 and recently anchorwoman of the “L’Isola dei Famosi” (or Survivor in England) show, where Belèn also took part. Over recent years there have also been Manuela Arcuri, Elisabetta Canalis and, last year, Elena Santarelli: a marriage of female beauty and passion for cars that will continue this year with the Latin-American charm of Belèn Rodriguez.
Belèn will arrive at the Motor Show after her recent months in the Honduras, during her experience in the 6th edition of the reality show “L’Isola dei Famosi”, which goes on air on Raidue. The Argentinean girl almost won on the final evening with record viewing: 31.49% of the share with peaks of up to 64%.
Belèn Rodriguez is the testimonial for various lingerie names and her first appearances on Italian TV date back to 2007, initially in the comedy programme on Raitre “Tintoria”, then with Fabrizio Frizzi she compeered two Circus shows. Last year she was also protagonist in the “Boyfriend” video clip a success for the American rapper Coolio. She then did her first calendars and her TV appearances were on the up throughout 2008: she is often a guest on “Quelli che il Calcio”, she appeared in “Lucignolo” and also found time to debut as a singer, recording a single with Nek before she left for the “island”. So at less than two weeks since she came back from the Honduras, she will be in Bologna for a dive into the world of cars and to visit the Motor Show halls.
