Tesla Roadster gets more Electrified with Sport Version

Just when you though that the Tesla Roadster couldn't get more exciting , the team at Tesla Motors has gone ahead and introduced a Sport version named the Tesla Roadster Sport.

The electric motor company has begun to take orders on the new Tesla as of January 11th which means better have around $128 ,500 stashed to get the ultimate electric car experience. Just how much more powerful is the new Roadster Sport? According to Tesla the new Sport gets 15 percent more power and a better 0-60 in just 3.7 seconds.

Other changes found within the the new Tesla Roadster sport include:

"(Tesla Roadster Sport) It comes with a hand-wound stator and increased winding density for lower resistance and higher peak torque. In addition to Yokohama’s Ultra High Performance tires, the Roadster Sport has improved suspension with adjustable dampers and anti-roll bars that will be tuned to the driver’s preference."

Ultimately when comparing it to it's brother car the Roadster non sport this car is just .02 seconds quicker than up to 60. Does this increase in performance warrant the pricing increase?  You'll have to be the judge of that.Good thing Tesla is allowing those who already ordered a regular Roadster a chance to upgrade to a Sport and pay the upgrade price. Think of its as Tesla Roadster version 2.0 ,it is an upgrade you can't resist.
