Here is one lucky person who got to go for a ride in the all new Tesla Motors Model S and also captured it all on video.
The video was taken at a press conference for the new car where Elon Musk revealed the vehicle. Multiple people got a chance to go for a ride in the new electric car where Mr Musk drove on blocked off roads and got to demonstrate the power of the vehicle. This car is not just vaporware people it can drive and as you can see from the video : both Elon and the person riding along are very much enthusiastic about the drive.
The new Tesla Model S may be the funnest most technologically advanced automobile to ever hit the streets when it comes in 2011. Tesla says it can easily seat 7 ,of course with 2 of these seating configurations being for children. Pricing for the new Model S will start at $49,900 with a federal tax credit applied.
Something tells us that a lot of people who already have the Roadster will be jumping on the electric train and going with the new saloon as well. Its not faster than the Roadster but can still do zero to sixty in 5.6 seconds (claimed by Tesla) and costs nearly half the price of the Roadster.
Go for a ride with Mr Musk as he and one lucky participant show off the all new ultra modern electric saloon.
