Our friends at Automotivetraveler.com have spied BMW's new 5 Series Gran Turismo. This photo was snapped up by Rich in the Southern California area.
The BMW 5 Series GT first made an appearance at this year Geneva Motor Show in concept form and now is testing in locales across the US and the world. BMW refers to this new model as a Proggresive Activity Vehicle which enters a whole new territory for the brand. I would say that this car is a cross between an X6 and a 5 Series.
The all new BMW 5 Series Gran Turismo should hit showrooms in late 2009/ early 2010. Look for the possibility of a production version come time for the show in Frankfurt this year.
