Now you say what will a future BMW be like? Besides being performance oriented , the car must also be fuel efficient. This concept BMW gets a total of 63 miles on one gallon of diesel. More specifically what you find under the hood is a diesel electric engine that can bring this Ultimate Driving Machine to 60 in just 4.8 seconds.
With it being a concept car , the chances of a future BMW being this radical are in styling is slim but you can be sure BMW will be bringing performance oriented and fuel efficient luxury vehicles in the future. So instead of fueling up that BMW M6 multiple times per week, you will bypass that with a more efficient car that will most likely sacrifice little on performance.
