Interview with Cyprian Lerch, CEO of Privé International
How did you come about founding the company Privé International?
First of all I would like to thank you for the opportunity to allow me to give some insight into our company and what we are all about. In 2005 I had the opportunity to dine with Michael Douglas and Catherine-Zeta-Jones at my associate’s residence in Bermuda. It was at that time the concept of Privé International was formed. With the many affluent friends and connections we have my associate and friend Rammy Smith and I decided to form a company that would provide access to high net worth individuals around the world. After much do diligence and research we came to the conclusion that there was a need in the luxury market to provide private yacht/jet charters, luxury vacation properties, and luxury automobiles all through one single company.
What types of clients use your service and what are they using it most for?
The types of clients we cater to are international, high net worth individuals, whom are in business, entertainment, athletics and politics. Most of our clients use all of the amenities that we offer. The private jet charters are for the most part business related, however since we provide convenient flexible access to a wide variety of amenities our members tend to use them for both business and pleasure.
What are the two types of membership you offer?
The two types of memberships that we offer are Privé Black Card Membership and Privé Orange Card Membership. We introduced the Orange Card Membership this year for individuals who may not use our amenities as frequently however still want the ability to access them and join at lower cost.
What can you tell me about Privé International and your new relation to Virgin Galactic and space travel?
This is something we are very excited about but unfortunately I am unable to go into details at this time more details on this will be announced shortly.
How can joining a company like Privé International save clients money in the long run?
When one joins Privé members receive service and pricing second to none. How have social media sites like Twitter and Facebook related to your company and has this been a valuable asset to finding new members?
This year we have put a lot of effort into social media networks. We have found it to be very valuable for us. I personally believe there is a dynamic shift in the internet and the way business is conducted. Social media networks if used properly can be very powerful tools.
How do you deal with communication in the age of digital media?
Digital media is growing at such a rapid rate it is important to keep on top of the latest trends and topics.
Who inspires you and why?
My inspiration comes from my grandfather, who was a diplomat and industrialist. He was well respected by many dignitaries around the world. Knighted twice by Pope Pius, he was also responsible for building up infrastructures around the world. I constantly strive to conduct myself and do business in the same manner he did.
