Sony's Gran Turismo 5 to take advantage of 3D TV technology

Surprise, Surprise : next Gran Turismo game will feature support for 3D gaming on next generation 3D televisions. 

Imagine driving the a new Lamborghini Gallardo in 3D: this could be the closest thing to actual driving one in reality. 

Here is a quote from one of the US producers of the Gran Turismo 5 game:

"This is the first time we’re implementing the 3D feature in Gran Turismo, Gran Turismo 5 will be available later this year, but it will have these 3D features."

I was not one for wanting a 3D enabled TV but may have to pony up for one to experience GT5 in 3D.
