2011 is set to be a break through year for the Fiat 500 in the USA. It is the first year the new 500 will be sold at Chrysler dealers across the states. Chrysler "hopes to sell 50,000 of the small scale sport 500's. This is according to a new report on Boston.com by the Associated Press.
This is not a surprise that the 500 will be the only car coming over from Italy to the US shores. Other Fiat cars would just not sell well here. Additionally the 500 is the most highly desired car that US drivers want to get their hands on out of the Fiat lineup.
The only other car I think US drivers would want, would have to be the Bravo and there are no plans to bring this car to the USA.
Let's hope for the chance that we see the Abarth versions here as well.
