An Australian man rented the white Lamborghini Gallardo and was on the way to his wedding when he lost control of the exotic supercar and drive it off to the side of the road.
Lambo's are very expensive down under and to rent one is probably twice the cost it is to rent one here in the States. According to WreckedExotics.com where this photo comes from , the driver lost his deposit of $15,000.Let's hope his future wife didn't get stranded at the alter too...
Was the driver on the goon or did he have too many V Bitters before driving to the reception? I think perhaps he was just having too much fun in the Lambo and lost control. He did make it to the reception though as a video on MSN 9 News Australia said the driver called in the accident and managed to make it to his wedding.
That is just one more reason to get a driver or drive a car that you are familiar with on your wedding day. I'm working at Baldassarre Events and we always make sure our bride and groom get the dreamy car they want. At the same time, safety comes first!
Renting a Lamborghini can still be part of the wedding fun, for example a weekend before the wedding on a race track with an instructor.
Thank God the groom was alright and even still made it to the wedding!
