Mecum Auctions will take the hammer to Kansas City, Mo., Dec. 6-8 as a wide variety of collector cars fill the downtown Kansas City Convention Center, Bartle Hall to the facility’s max capacity. The expansive display of over 750 vehicles, all set to cross the auction block during the three-day event, boasts a collection of some rare and impressive vehicles, most with a truly unique story to tell.
The Kansas City auction will feature the Twister Specials – a group of three Grabber Orange Mustangs, two from the series of 96 specially built 1970 Mach 1 Fastbacks that swept through town to the Kansas City Motor Speedway on Nov. 7, 1969, then made available to the public exclusively through Kansas City Ford dealerships. Other features will include an ultra-rare 1969 Pontiac GTO Judge Ram Air IV Hardtop (Lot S109) and a stunning 1958 Chevrolet Impala Convertible (Lot S105.1).
The diverse collection set to cross the block includes more than Mustangs and muscle cars however, and most likely, something for everyone, including classic Road Art pieces to perfectly complement any car enthusiast’s décor – just in time for the holidays.
The auction is open to the general public with tickets available in advance or at the door for $15 per day. For information about bidder registration or to consign a vehicle for this event, visitwww.Mecum.com or call (262) 275-5050.
